Clarke Bell has a Corporate Team and a Personal Team
John Bell, Senior Partner
John is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner.
Originally from Alston in Cumbria, he graduated with BA (Hons) from Liverpool’s John Moores University in 1986.
He then moved to London, where he worked for Grant Thornton and Smith & Williamson during which time he gained his qualification as a Chartered Accountant.
In 1994 John gained his Insolvency Licence and established Clarke Bell.
Since then John has gained extensive expertise in all matters relating to the strategies and practicalities of both Corporate and Personal Insolvencies.
Toyah Collins, Head of Corporate Team
Toyah is a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner and a Chartered Certified Accountant.
She has been with Clarke Bell for more than 11 years, having started here after leaving school at 16. She then rapidly gained the AAT Accounting Qualification, the ACCA Accounting Qualification, the CPI Insolvency Qualification and the JIEB Insolvency Qualification.
She remains one of the youngest Insolvency professionals in the country to have qualified as a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner by the age of 26.
Her specialities include Administrations, Creditor Voluntary Liquidations (CVLs), Creditor Voluntary Arrangements (CVAs) and Members Voluntary Arrangements (MVLs).
Katie Faulkner, Corporate Insolvency Administrator
Katie joined Clarke Bell after leaving school at 16. She has successfully passed the NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration, and the CPI Insolvency Qualification.
She is currently studying a Diploma in Business & Administration which is giving her a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of general business.
In her 7+ years at Clarke Bell Katie has become a specialist in Creditor Voluntary Liquidations (CVLs) and liaising with company directors and their creditors to ensure the process is managed correctly and smoothly for all concerned.

Jessica Williams, Corporate Insolvency Administrator
Jess is the third member of the Corporate Team to join Clarke Bell after leaving school at 16.
In the 5+ years since then she has achieved success in the NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration, as well as the AAT Accounting Qualification. She is currently studying the CPI Insolvency Qualification.
Jess deals primarily with Creditor Voluntary Liquidations (CVLs), as well as working closely with Toyah assisting her in case load.
Delyse Plunkett, Head of Personal Team
With over 20 years of Insolvency experience Delyse has just about seen it all in terms of Personal Insolvency.
Delyse has her CPI Insolvency Qualification and continues to expand her knowledge by regularly attending Personal Insolvency courses.
In her 5+ years with Clarke Bell she has enjoyed successfully dealing with very complex Individual Voluntary Arrangements (IVAs) on behalf of sole-trader businessmen, as well as more usual IVAs and bankruptcies.
Delyse also heads up our ERA (Employment Rights Act) Team which deals with employees’ claims relating to their redundancy following the liquidation of one of our Corporate Clients.
Lynne O’Grady, Personal Insolvency Administrator
Lynne has more than 10 years experience in the world of Insolvency and continues to expand her knowledge by regularly attending Personal Insolvency courses.
She has been with Clarke Bell for more than 5 years and is a specialist in dealing with Bankruptcies from the Official Receiver, as well as completing the complicated Bankruptcy Petition forms on behalf of our clients.
Lynne also deals with Individual Voluntary Arrangements (IVAs), as well as being a part of our ERA (Employment Rights Act) Team dealing with the redundancy matters of employees of any of our liquidated Corporate Clients.
Lynne is also our resident guru for all matters relating to our Insolvency software – ensuring that our processes are kept slick and efficient.
Tim Slater, Marketing Manager
Tim has more than 10 years experience in professional services marketing, following his degree and post-graduate diploma in Marketing.
He has been with Clarke Bell for more than 7 years and his role is to help the firm with its business development in retaining existing clients and securing new ones.
