Clarke Bell were delighted to be a sponsor at the ICAEW Sole Practitioners’ Conference 2017 at Haydock Racecourse on Thursday 9th November.
The one day conference will address the issues that face sole practitioners and is an opportunity to mingle with other practitioners, sharing experiences and gaining vital ‘Continuing Professional Development.’
Sole practitioners face unique challenges compared to those who work in partner practices and a range of different topics will be addressed. Practical advice and solutions will be discussed relating to financial reporting, solo working, intellectual property and understanding tax updates.
The ICAEW itself is a world leading professional membership organisation that promotes, develops and supports over 147,000 Chartered Accountants worldwide. The organisation provides qualifications and promotes professional development to further enhance and protect the integrity of the accountancy and finance profession.
Speaking about the conference, John Bell, the senior partner at Clarke Bell, said:
“The conference provides us with a great opportunity to keep in touch with sole practitioner accountancy firms in the North West, and to offer them advice on any insolvency or probate-related matters.”
